Featuring an unrivalled program of over 50 speakers, the Safe Cladding, Buildings and Façade Innovation Summit Series was launched in 2018 with the purpose of helping stakeholders within the Australian building and construction sector navigate new legislation and reforms, implement better practices and develop strategies and solutions to ensure the safety and compliance of current and future buildings.
Join us In Melbourne on 19 November 2019 as we explore where the Australian building and construction sector is moving, what the new NCC requirements mean for your organisation and how to implement best practice standards in safe cladding, buildings and façade innovation.
This year we are also bringing the Safe Cladding, Buildings and Façade Innovation Summit Series to Auckland on 21 November 2019. A significant number of buildings across Auckland and Wellington have been found to have cladding similar to that seen in the UK’s Grenfell tower fire in 2017. The Insurance Council of New Zealand has said that many of the country’s commercial buildings do not meet fire safety standards and are putting lives and property at risk. Many councils have fallen short when it comes to ensuring that their fire and other safety systems are sufficiently robust.
Join us as we hear from industry leaders in the New Zealand building and construction sector on policies that need to be implemented, what your exposure is, fire safety measures your organisation can undertake and costs involved in financing rectification.
